However, your lead generation campaign can play an unlikely role in determining whether you will be putting up this sign for your prospects. This is not just about using lead generation to discover problems in your prospect's office. It is also about temporary disabling a part of it once a lead has been qualified and a deal has been made.

Understanding Prospect's Time Is Not Only Form Appointments In Lead Generation


It is always good to be aware of your prospect's time. But as far as your lead generation process is concerned, your primary focus would normally be just on the free slots in your prospect's schedule. That is good but not always good enough. This goes especially if these prospects are already experiencing a little maintenance trouble even as they are in the process of becoming cleaning leads.

You will save your business a ton of pressure if you use your lead generation strategy to understand a problem and know what the solution could mean for your prospect's daily operations. Do not underestimate the effects of even putting an Out of Order sign on a bathroom door.   • What needs fixing? - People underestimate the role of cleaning lead generation as a problem-solving tool in business. Even in commercial cleaning, the engagement necessary to qualify a prospect will always lead to a discussion of what actually needs to be dealt with.

  • What is its role in the business? - For many people, the role of bathrooms, carpets, and pest-free infrastructure seems obvious. For real experts in the industry however, that role tends to be underestimated and it is the job of your lead generation strategy show why it should not be the case.


  • What priority does your prospect give to it? - Some prospects can show they are not that bothered if your people drop by to make the necessary repairs or clean ups. Others are actually quite fickle because they also understand why things like clean carpets and working bathroom are important. Either way, your lead generation process should be aware of it so you will know how quickly you might need to finish.

No matter how many people take that Out of Order sign for granted, its meaning will continue be as it says it is. Something is currently unavailable for use and you are in the middle of fixing it. That does not mean your lead generation strategy should not try to make it easier on those who take such signs negatively. Make sure your cleaning services leads can tell you if something is out of order.
